Designed to suit most standard openings, this Hume Pivot Door Frame PIV A/B is manufactured from solid Meranti timber. It provides a reliable, high-quality foundation for your entrance, tailored specifically for builders and renovators who value efficient, straightforward installation.

Hume Doors are a trusted choice for Australian homes. By manufacturing this frame unassembled, Hume ensures easier handling and transport. The Meranti timber is specifically selected for its rich grain, making it the ideal choice if you prefer to stain or clear-coat your doors rather than painting them.

  • Material: Premium Meranti hardwood, perfect for staining.
  • Inclusions: Frame comes supplied and fitted with heavy-duty pivot hinges.
  • Weatherproofing: Compatible with RP86 weather seals and a hardwood sill for external entry protection.
  • Bushfire Compliance: Can be specially manufactured to suit certain Bushfire Attack Levels (BAL) per standard AS3959-09. (Contact us to discuss BAL-rated Merbau alternatives).
