The Parkwood Duramax Plus VV13 is a composite entrance door built to withstand extreme Australian weather conditions. As our most affordable door range, it offers the best insulation in the lineup and is supplied ready to paint or stain to suit your home.

What is the Duramax Plus package?

The Duramax Plus package is our trusted composite door system supplied ready to paint or stain. It combines a polyurethane core for high insulation with Glass Reinforced Polyester skins, making the door hardwearing and weatherproof.

What is the difference between Duramax and Duramax Plus?

Both ranges share the same weatherproof construction, however the Duramax Plus is our most affordable composite door range with the best insulation U-value. It features a polyurethane core and a smooth fibreglass skin that you can finish on site.

Our timber doors are made with the finest, sustainably-sourced timbers. They’re kiln-dried and moisture tested to ensure strength and rigidity. Designed for weather-protected entranceways, they aren’t suitable for extended periods of direct rain or sun.

How to machine for a lock on a Duramax Plus Composite Door

Parkwood Duramax Plus composite doors contain a fibreglass pultrusion inside the lock stile for enduring stability and strength. The pultrusion makes conventional morticing techniques difficult.

Parkwood recommends getting the door pre-machined for locks, if that is not possible please watch this video.
