The Parkwood Duramax Plus VV00 is a composite fibreglass entrance door built to handle extreme Australian weather without rusting, rotting, twisting or denting. As our most affordable door range, it gives you the look of timber with none of the upkeep.
What is a Duramax door?
Duramax doors use a polyurethane core wrapped in Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) fibreglass skins. This composite construction delivers better thermal insulation than solid timber, keeping your home cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

How to machine for a lock on a Duramax Plus Composite Door
Parkwood Duramax Plus composite doors contain a fibreglass pultrusion inside the lock stile for enduring stability and strength. The pultrusion makes conventional morticing techniques difficult.
Parkwood recommends getting the door pre-machined for locks, if that is not possible please watch this video.
