The Hume Weatherguard Frame in solid Meranti is designed to suit a 1 x 2040 x 820 door and a 1 x 2040 x 400 sidelite. This unassembled kit set provides a timber finish that takes stain beautifully, giving your entrance a warm, natural look.

Built for time-efficient builders and renovators, the frame includes an aluminium sill and pre-fitted RP86 weather seals to manage the elements on site. The kit arrives supplied with hinges, ready for a straightforward installation.

Frame Sizing and Compatibility

If you are wondering what is the frame opening for an 820 door, this Weatherguard frame is specifically sized to house a standard 820mm wide entry door alongside a 400mm sidelite. Hume designs these frames to suit standard opening dimensions, taking the guesswork out of matching your door to your cavity.

Material Choice and BAL Ratings

Hume Weatherguard Frames are available in Primed Pine for a painted finish, Meranti for staining, and Merbau for bushfire zones. Hume entry frames can be specially manufactured to suit certain Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) ratings in accordance with AS3959-09. Please contact our team to discuss specific BAL compliance requirements.
