The Hume Weatherguard Frame in Meranti is designed to suit a standard single door opening (2040 x 820). Supplied unassembled, this Meranti frame is the ideal choice when you want to stain your entrance door surround rather than paint it.

Hume Weatherguard Frames are the right choice for the time-efficient builder or tradesperson. Each kit features an aluminium sill and RP86 weather seals to help you manage moisture control and installation on the building site.

  • Material: Solid Meranti, chosen specifically for staining to achieve a warm, natural timber finish.
  • Size: Made to suit 1 x door (2040 x 820).
  • Inclusions: The frame comes supplied and fitted with 4 x hinges for straightforward hanging.
  • Weatherproofing: Features a self-draining aluminium sill and RP86 weather seals. The seal is removable for painting or staining the frame and is easily reinstalled.
  • Bushfire Ratings Options: Merbau options are available for bushfire zones. Hume Entry Frames can be specially manufactured to suit certain Bushfire Attack Levels (BAL) per standard AS3959-09.
