BAL19 & 29 Bush Fire Resistant Frame Kit Sets

BAL19 & 29 Merbau Weatherguard entrance frames are designed and suited for bushfire zones BAL12.5, 19 and 29 when installed as per the Australian Standard AS3959. The hardwood jambs and head are compliant with BAL19 & 29 as per AS3959. Frames are fitted with an intumescent fire & smoke perimeter seal compliant to BAL19 & 29, with the seal being removable for painting and can be easily reinstalled.


Any glass options for this range comply with AS3959 - 6mm Toughened glass required, if glass portions are open-able or are within 400mm of the ground they must be screened with a BAL approved screen (screens not included). CG\DG & EG\FG frames are glazed using 6mm toughened glass and must be screened with a BAL compliant screen as per AS3959

    Mushroom stop is an alternative to rebated doors for pairs of doors to eliminate draughts, noise etc. Increases the width of a pair of doors by 12mm.

  • Multiblade Rubber Seal

    Provides maximum weather protection.

  • Durable Hardwood Bottom Sill

    Made from solid timber and slanted in design. The hardwood sill is a sleek and elegant threshold that improves moisture control.
