The Unique 2-In-1 Door
1 Timber Door = 1 Entrance Door + 1 Screen Door
The Santorini door is part of the Bay Breeze range, patented for the Australian market (patent application 2024204562). It is an engineered solid timber entrance door made from Africa Okoume, designed in a 2-in-1 configuration that combines your entrance door and screen door in one unit.
316 high-strength steel mesh is fitted to the exterior. A timber window with glass sits on the interior side, opening independently so you can let the breeze through the mesh whilst keeping the entrance door closed and secure.
The Santorini features raised moulding on the face with grids over the outer mesh, suiting French-style house entrances. It is available in two standard sizes: 2040 x 1200 and 2340 x 1200.

The 2-In-1 door includes a screen door and an entrance door. Outside of the entrance door, 316 high-strength steel gauze is installed.
The timber window with glass is installed inside the entrance door and can be opened as a screen door when the entrance door is closed.

The entrance door opens to the inside and the screen door opens to the outside. As the entrance door and screen door are two separate door sections, it is quite inconvenient to lock the doors and use the keys to open the doors twice when used.

Our screen mesh is made of 316 high-strength steel which provides sufficient strength and safety.
Indoor timber windows with glass use friction hinges which can keep them in any position based on maintaining strength and will not be moved easily by even strong winds. The use of multi-lock point locks can provide a tight closing and reduce the deformation of the timber windows.
In addition to the door being very safe during use, it can also protect the personal safety of your family. When a stranger knocks on the door, you can open the window inside to communicate with the visitor through the high-strength steel mesh, and then open the entrance door after confirming safety.

The timber entrance door and screen door need to be purchased and installed separately with more cost and labor. Our "2-In-1" door only needs one purchase and one installation.
There are special requirements for the handle of the 2-In-1 door. To ensure the normal opening and closing of the window sash, vertical or circular handles should be selected for clearance, rather than horizontal handles (as depicted in the left image). Bay Solutions Doors provides a handle labeled with the Bay Solutions number.
